I just stopped by your blog and your Twitter! Nice I’m following! I believe Whitney’s troubles were caused by her marriage. She needed to marry someone at her level. Bobby was the complete opposite of her. In order to connect with him she gave up who she was to fit into his world of drugs and abuse. He was never able to deal with her level of fame. Their relationship was based on physical attraction, sex, which she said they did a lot of, but outside of that they had nothing in common expect the vices and what they did for a living. She always lied for him and protected him but eventually she realized he would never be there for her. She was a great person just didn’t love herself enough to make the right choices.

Like Oprah said, “Why didn’t she walk away? She was trying to be the good wife.” We all make mistakes in life and she was no different than the women who give up their world for a relationship that in the end would destroy them. It happens to men too.

Yeah, I definitely agree that Whitney was human and had her own insecurities that contributed to her falling to drug addiction. I watched her interview with Oprah that she did in 2009 where she talked about the verbal and emotional abuse she endured from Bobbi Brown. She talked about how she wanted to not face the pain that she was going through with their marriage. So yeah, I’m with you on that.
